PRINCE OF PEACE PREKINDERGARTEN
Prince of Peace Prekindergarten has traditional classes for three and four year olds. We provide an interesting and stimulating environment where children can investigate and explore using their tremendous curiosity and sensory skills while developing kindergarten readiness skills. Our students explore our outdoor nature playground and garden year round and on a daily basis. One of our primary goals is to develop a positive self-image in each child while practicing social, cognitive and language skills; affirming that he or she is a unique, special person. POPPS has chosen Creative Curriculum for preschool as our curriculum. In addition, we utilize Get Set For School for pre-writing and we offer a weekly Music program. Pre-k classes meet three or four days per week, from 9:00am to 12:00pm with optional Lunch Bunch until 1:00pm , Early Drop-off 8:00-9:00 am and Extended Day 8:00 am to 3:30m pm .
6 WEEK OUTDOOR PLAYMATES PROGRAM
POPPS Playmates is a stimulating program for two-year olds and their grownups. Join us this Fall and Spring on our nature playground, Chipmunk Hollow! This six week program will feature finger plays, weekly themes, open ended crafts, story time, fun in our mud kitchen, gardening, and friendship making all out of doors! Classes will be held Thursdays from 9:30 -10:45 am.
STEPPING STONES
Stepping Stones is a transitional program for children ages 2 years 6 months – 3 years old. The program offers a small group setting that acts as a bridge between POPPS Playmates and our traditional pre-kindergarten program. It is a special place where our young 3’s can explore new friendships and gain independence in a warm and caring environment. Children must be potty trained to enroll. Children can join this class at any time once they are 2.6 years of age.
