I stumbled upon POPPS through a recommendation on a Mom’s group on Facebook. I went to tour the place and fell in love with it. My daughter immediately felt right at home as soon as she entered the building. The environment is warm and the teachers and staff treat the students like family. My daughter has flourished in the year and a half that she has attended POPPS. She has grown into a quite confident and independent little 4-year old. She has acquired a multitude of age-appropriate life, play, school, and social skills thanks to POPPS. My husband and I particularly love the creative and engaging hands-on curriculum at POPPS. One day our daughter is learning about the ocean and using seaweed to roll her own sushi and the next day she’s planting tomatoes and helping to tend to the school’s garden. My younger son also attended the playgroup at POPPS this past year. It was by far his favorite day of the week. He asks to go to “school” each morning when he wakes up. He will start in the Stepping Stones program in the fall and he is so excited for it to begin!
POPPS has instilled a love of learning in our two children. We couldn’t be happier with our choice of preschool!

I searched for the perfect school for my 3 year old son, and found it at Prince of Peace preschool. All the staff adores my son and I would not trust him in anyone else’s hands. Starting at the age of 2, Prince of Peace preschool offered a loving, hands-on environment to both my daughters. The early exposure to such a warm & friendly environment made the toddler-to-preschool transition that much easier. They really balanced their school time with the right amount of learning, play, and fun activities. There was always something exciting going on; whether it was a visit from a community member, a field trip, or just a really neat, well thought-out craft. The teachers were very warm, and kind-hearted. Also, the introduction to God and prayer were a great asset to have instilled in the kids at a young age.

POPPS is a warm and nurturing school that offers superior pre-school education. Our daughter attended the “Stepping Stones” program, which strengthened her overall pre-academic skills and prepared her well for Pre-K 4. She thrived on the educational crafts and activities, and the classroom stations encouraged free play and creativity. The student to teacher ratio was 2:5. She was fortunate to have Mrs. DiMauro and Mrs. Welsing as her teachers. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, approachable, and dedicated to the children. Our son attended the “Playmates” program and enjoyed the creative activities, which varied weekly based on a fun and educational theme.
